Janiel has worked as a classroom teacher, university instructor, and director of an early childhood teacher certification program. She is currently works as a K-6 literacy specialist/coach in Sunset, Utah. She’s published many books for Scholastic as well as articles for The Reading Teacher and Instructor magazine. Kim has been selected as an Expert Teacher for Houston County, Georgia, where she also serves as a mentor teacher.
